Magnetic Resonance

Magnetic resonance imaging is particularly useful in the diagnosis of diseases of the brain and spine (as it allows for direct visualization of diseases in the discs and spinal cord) and all types of joint structures.

Magnetic resonance imaging is also an excellent complementary method (along with X-ray, ultrasound and/or computed tomography) in some thoracic, abdominal and pelvic diseases. The advantages of MRI over other diagnostic methods are an excellent ability to capture images of soft tissue and their inner structures (such as blood vessels), as well as individual layers of the body in any selected plane.
