How to properly prepare for research - tips
Na większość badań pacjent nie musi być na czczo.
Tests marked in blue on the referral indicate that the patient should report for a blood draw while fasting.
- 🚫 To be fasting means at least 12 hours after eating a meal, unless your doctor has recommended a post-meal test.
- 💧 Only unsweetened water or bitter (unsweetened) tea can be drunk before the test.
What not to eat:
- 🚫 Meals, snacks, fruits, vegetables, breath freshening candies, chew gum, smoke cigarettes.
What not to drink:
- 🚫 Flavored water, coffee, cola light/ cola "zero" drinks, energy drinks, juices.
