Tetanus vaccine, adsorbed
- Indications for use:
The vaccine is used for active immunization against tetanus in children, adolescents and adults:
a) As part of the Immunization Program:
- if there are contraindications to other vaccines,
- as a booster dose.
b) Pregnant women, unvaccinated and expecting that childbirth may take place in unsanitary conditions.
c) In active-passive tetanus prophylaxis in cases of contaminated wounds and with a high probability of Clostridium tetani. - Vaccination cycle:
- 2 doses 4 - 6 weeks apart (primary vaccination),
- The 3rd dose 6 - 12 months after the 2nd dose.
Required qualification before each dose. - Duration of immunity:
