Antibodies against Leydig cells, found in the testicle, can lead to male fertility disorders.
Leydig cells are interstitial cells of the testicle located in the connective tissue between the seminiferous tubules. These cells are responsible for the production of male sex hormones – androgens, primarily testosterone.
