Preparation
- The test is performed as standard between 20-30 weeks of pregnancy (optimally 22-24 weeks).
- The possibility of using the 3/4 D option is decided by the doctor during the examination - it depends on many factors (amount of amniotic fluid, behavior of the baby during the examination, age of pregnancy). If it is not possible to use the 3/4D option, you will be charged for a 2D pregnancy examination (standard pregnancy ultrasound).
Description of the study
The test provides precise insight into the development of the fetus, evaluates the flow in the vessels in the placenta, in the uterus and in the baby's body, and allows you to "suspect" the baby's appearance in a way that is almost identical to its actual appearance. During the examination, the baby's facial expressions, finger sucking, among other things, can be followed.
The purpose of the examination is to precisely assess the brain, spine, heart, kidneys, face, as well as other organs. The examination makes it possible to determine whether the baby is developing properly, and if there are any abnormalities, the examination enables accurate diagnosis to be made already in the womb.
The examination is recorded on a flash drive, and color photos are attached to the description of the examination. The recording can also be viewed on our website using an individual code that the patient receives during the examination.
