Description of the study
The test is performed using headphones in a sitting position. The patient repeats the words heard through the headphones, delivered separately to each ear. The verbal test assesses the effectiveness of the central speech signal processing system.

- assessment of hearing loss,
- assessment of speech understanding threshold depending on hearing loss,
- an auxiliary examination when selecting hearing aids,
- differentiation of retrocochlear hearing losses.
