Description of the study

Cryotherapy is a treatment method that involves local destruction of diseased tissue by freezing. Advantages of this method include a short procedure time, a safe and simple technique, and the ability to be performed on an outpatient basis. During the procedure, the patient may experience a burning sensation, which usually subsides within 5-10 minutes. Immediately after the procedure, erythema or swelling may occur, and blisters may occasionally develop, which take 2 to 6 weeks to heal.
