Description of the study

A subjective test designed to assess hearing thresholds in an extended range up to 20 kHz. A tone is presented to the subject's ear via headphones. The moment the patient hears the first audible sound is signaled by a button. The test is painless and allows for early detection of hearing loss and a qualitative assessment of tinnitus.
