Description of the study
A subjective test to assess the hearing threshold in the extended range up to 20 kHz. The test subject is administered a tone to the ear using earphones. The moment the patient hears the first audible sound, he signals with a button. The test is painless and allows early detection of hearing damage and qualitative assessment of tinnitus.
Indications
- suspected hearing impairment,
- Children at risk with a history of rubella in fetal life,
- qualitative assessment of tinnitus.
