Preparation for the examination
General
- The test is collected at a dedicated Collection Point.
- The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.

"Cytogenetic testing performed using the GTG technique.
Karyotype analysis involves staining metaphase chromosomes obtained from in vitro cultures with the GTG technique, followed by their microscopic analysis to detect any numerical and structural aberrations in accordance with ISCN 2020 (International System for Human Cytogenetic Nomenclature). Most hematological malignancies are characterized by the presence of karyotype changes with recognized prognostic and prognostic significance."
