- The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.

Description
"Analysis of mutations in exons 4-10 of the TP53 gene.
The tumor suppressor gene TP53 (formerly p53), known as the "guardian of the genome," is involved in the control of proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. TP53 mutations are considered a strong predictor
of poor survival and relapse in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). The prognosis for patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) or acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with TP53 mutations is unfavorable. Response to treatment is usually short-lived, and the risk of relapse after allogeneic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT) in this group of patients is increased."
