Description of the study
Behavioral observational audiometry (BAO) is a subjective hearing test performed on children under 3 years of age and on uncooperative children. The test involves observing the child's involuntary responses to auditory stimuli using a bone conduction receiver. The test results are presented as an audiogram with marked response points.
Behavioral assessment is performed to complement and/or confirm objective tests (otoacoustic emissions, ABR, ASSR).
