Description
WB IgG- 393
According to the guidelines, serological diagnosis of Lyme disease should be carried out in two stages: in the first stage, an ELISA-type test should be performed, then positive/questionable results should be confirmed with an immunoblot test. Western Blot test is used for qualitative in vitro determination of human IgG class antibodies against Borrelia antigens in serum or plasma. The EUROLINE-RN-AT- anti Borrelia IgG test uses highly purified, recombinant VlsE antigen from three pathogenic species: Borrelia afzelii (Ba), Borrelia burgdorferii (Bb) and Borrelia garinii (Bg). In addition, we used antigens extracted from the lipid fraction of the cell membrane from B. afzelii and B. burgdorferii-antibodies against these lipids often indicate the late phase of infection, as well as p83, p41,p39, OspC, p58, p21, p19, p18 antigens. In case of a positive result, antibodies present in the patient's serum combine with bacterial antigens located on the membrane strips.
