Description

The test quantitatively examines the concentration of antibodies in the patient's serum, the titer of which increases in autoimmune diseases: deamidated gliadin IgA, transglutaminase IgA (tTG IgA), total IgA

The test can be performed in:

– people suffering from: chronic diarrhea, weight loss, abdominal pain, mood swings, iron and vitamin deficiencies,
– family members of a person with celiac disease,
– patients with a diagnosed autoimmune disease (as they are in the risk group),
– people with anemia (as anemia is often the only symptom of celiac disease),
– patients with suspected food allergy but with negative sIgE results,
– people diagnosed with celiac disease (to check the effectiveness of a gluten-free diet).
