The test material is blood.
The patient does not need to be fasting.About 30 minutes before the test it is advisable to drink a glass of water.

Description

The concentration of free zinc ions, as well as the intracellular content of this element, is low. Zinc deficiency causes a variety of disorders: hair loss, parakeratosis, acrodermatitis, impaired wound healing, hypogonadism, immune disorders.

Indications for determination:Acrodermatitis enteropathica, impaired wound healing, long-term parenteral nutrition.
