Description of the study
Insulin is a hormone produced by the beta cells of the pancreas. It plays an important role in the human body. In type 1 diabetes, insulin treatment is necessary, while in type 2 diabetes, insulin treatment is administered only when determined by a doctor.
Patient undergoing Individual Education counseling – Learning how to administer insulin:
- learn the principles of proper insulin injection administration,
- will receive information on where insulin can be administered,
- will receive information on the prevention of injection sites.
