Ecstasy in urine, qualitatively

• Urine should be collected in a disposable container (not less than 10 ml). If less material is provided, the Laboratory reserves the right not to perform the analysis.
• The patient does not need to be fasting.
• Before collection, intimate hygiene should be maintained (the material is collected after washing the genital area, but disinfectants should not be used).
• In the refrigerator, the urine can be stored for up to 3 days.
• The result is reliable up to 72 hours after taking the drug.

Patients complain of increased muscle tension and sweating after taking ecstasy. Like amphetamine, ecstasy causes an increase in blood pressure, heart rate, increased sensitivity to light, difficulty concentrating, and blurred vision. MDMA causes the release of the nerve transmitters serotonin and dopamine.
The most unpleasant effect occurring in almost all people who have taken a significant amount of ecstasy is a squeeze.
