Preparation for the examination
General
- The material for testing is blood.
- The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.
Description
ENA profile – a so-called "second-line" test identifying antibodies present in the screening test. The patient receives information on the result (in accordance with rheumatology association recommendations): interpretation (positive/borderline/negative), type of fluorescence, antibody titer, antibody class, antibodies detected in the ENA test, and clinical commentary.
