General
- The material for testing is blood.
- The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.
Description
FT3 is a hormone produced by the thyroid gland.
Increased values: thyrotoxicosis, iodine deficiency, after several months of iodine treatment.
Decreased values: postoperative conditions and serious non-thyroid diseases, hypothyroidism.
