General
- The material for testing is blood.
- The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.
Description
The detection of IgM antibodies against hepatitis A proves a recent infection (detectable from the onset of the first symptoms of the disease for 3-6 months).
NOTE:
