Preparation for the examination
General
- The material for testing is blood.
- The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.
Important
We do not perform this test on men.
Description
The HCG test is used to confirm pregnancy (approximately 9-10 days after fertilization), monitor pregnancy, and detect ectopic pregnancies and multiple pregnancies.
The test is performed on women of reproductive age. It is not performed on men.
