  • Until the stool is delivered to the collection point, the sealed container with the collected material should be stored in a cool place, but not longer than 2 days.

Important

Description

H. pylori causes type B gastritis and gastric and duodenal ulcers. During the course of infection caused by H. pylori bacteria located in the gastric epithelium, significant concentrations of H. pylori antigens can occur in the stool. The presence of H. pylori antigens in the stool indicates a current infection with these bacteria, while their disappearance indicates effective eradication of the microorganism.

Antiparasitic drugs do not affect the test result.
