Preparation for the study
General
- For the test, collect a fecal sample the size of a hazelnut into a disposable container (without transport medium or preservatives).
- Until the stool is delivered to the collection center, the capped container with the collected material should be stored in a cool place, but not more than 2 days.
- The container with the collected material should be signed.
Description
The Lamblie stool test is performed to diagnose infection with the gastrointestinal parasite Lamblia intestinalis. The test is performed with an immunoenzymatic Elisa test.
