Preparation for the study
General
- For the test, a stool sample (liquid consistency) should be collected in a disposable container (approximately 5 ml).
The collected material should be stored in a cool place until delivered to the laboratory,
but no longer than 2 days. Do not forget to sign the container with the sample.
Description
The test is used to detect viruses that cause persistent diarrhea.
NOTE:
In accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Health of 26.06.2020, if rotavirus is detected in feces, the test result is subject to mandatory reporting to the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station.
