Preparation for the examination
General
- Store the collected sample at room temperature until the material is delivered to the laboratory.
- The material should be placed in a sterile, tightly closed container and delivered to the collection point on the same day (preferably within 4 hours).
- Culture is performed for aerobic bacteria.
Important
If further microbiological diagnostics are necessary, the time it takes to issue the result may be longer.
Description
The test is performed on people who experience diarrhea.
