Preparation for the study

General

Until the material is delivered to the laboratory, store the collected sample at room temperature.
The material should be placed in a sterile sealed container and delivered to the collection center on the same day(preferably within 4 hours).
The culture is performed for aerobic bacteria.

Important

If further microbiological diagnosis is required, the time for issuing the result may be prolonged.

Description

The test is performed in persons , who have diarrhea.
NOTE:
According to the Decree of the Minister of Health of 26.06.2020, a positive test result is subject to mandatory reporting to the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station.
