- Domestic/foreign phone number

All these data are absolutely required for the implementation of the survey.

Preparation for the study

General

The test material is a nasopharyngeal swab.
3 hours before the test, do not : eat, drink, rinse the mouth and nose, brush teeth, chew gum, smoke cigarettes, take medications ( does not apply to newborns and infants).
Do not use nasal drops before collecting the material.
If infection is suspected, it is advisable to move and stay in the facility wearing a protective mask to reduce the spread of pathogens in the environment.

Detailed for children

In the case of children, the swab is taken from the nose. The swab is inserted deeper than with standard microbiology swabs.

Important

Samples brought from outside are not accepted for testing.

* The test result is issued in 2 language versions, in Russian and Polish.

* Receipt of vaccine (any type) does not affect the result of the test performed after vaccination.

Description

This is a molecular ( genetic) test performed by RT-PCR, in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization ( WHO).

The purpose of the study is to test for coronavirus infection.

Mutation of the Sars-CoV-2 virus does not affect the ability of the test to detect infection.

The test result is issued in Russian and in Polish.
In accordance with current recommendations, the test result ( positive and negative) is reported by the Laboratory to the EWP database.
