When registering for Covid tests (PCR and antigen, regardless of whether it is a private, NFZ test, or with results in a foreign language), it is absolutely necessary to complete the patient's data:

Preparation for the examination

General

The test material is a nasal swab.
The patient does not need to fast.
Do not use nasal drops before collecting the material.
If an infection is suspected, it is advisable to move and stay in the facility wearing a protective mask to limit the spread of pathogens in the environment.

Detailed for children

In children, a nasal swab is taken. The swab is inserted deeper than with standard microbiological swabs.

Important

Samples brought from outside are not accepted for testing.
* The Sars-CoV-2 virus mutation does not affect the test's ability to detect infection.

* Receiving a vaccine (any type) does not affect the result of a test performed after vaccination.

Description

The antigen test is dedicated to patients with symptoms of respiratory infection and other symptoms associated with infection caused by the Sars-CoV-2 virus, as well as to asymptomatic patients who have had contact with a confirmed case.

The Sars-CoV-2 virus mutation does not affect the test's ability to detect infection.

The test is intended to confirm infection with the Sars-CoV-2 virus.

The test material is a nasal swab.

The test is performed using the BERIGHT test, which is used for qualitative detection of the Sars-CoV-2 antigen.

The sensitivity and specificity of the test compared to the RT-PCR method is:

– czułość : 90,4 %
– swoistość : 99,5 %

This test detects an antigen (a protein derived from the interior of the virus cell) that is detectable only when the virus is active and capable of infecting. This occurs in the early stages of infection, sometimes even before symptoms appear.

Interpretation of study results.

Dodatni wynik testu z wysokim prawdopodobieństwem wskazuje na aktywną infekcję wirusem SARS-CoV-2.
Ujemny wynik testu nie wyklucza infekcji. Pobranie może nastąpić w momencie gdy w organizmie nie ma jeszcze wykrywalnego antygenu. Z tego powodu w sytuacjach, gdy objawy lub czynniki epidemiologiczne wskazują na możliwość zakażenia, badanie należy powtórzyć po upływie 1-2 dni z nowo pobranej próbki. W przypadku utrzymujących się objawów ponownie ujemny wynik testu antygenowego należy zweryfikować w badaniu genetycznym, metodą RT-PCR.

Wynik testu wydawany jest w 2 wersjach językowych, w języku polskim oraz rosyjskim. Do wyniku dołączane jest zaświadczenie lekarskie w języku rosyjskim. Dokument opatrzony jest kwalifikowaną pieczęcią elektroniczną, z możliwością weryfikacji autentyczności. Wydruk papierowy stanowi odwzorowanie dokumentu elektronicznego.
Jeśli wynik badania jest ujemny, takie zaświadczenie umożliwi przekroczenie granicy *
oraz może przyczynić się do zniesienia obowiązkowej kwarantanny. Może także być okazane pracodawcy.

In accordance with the currently applicable recommendations, the antigen test result (positive and negative) is reported by the Laboratory to the EWP database.
