Preparation for the study
General
- The test material is blood.
- The patient does not need to be fasting.About 30 minutes before the test, it is advisable to drink a glass of water or bitter(unsweetened) tea.
Description
The most common causes of abnormal results are: bacterial infections,chronic inflammation, rheumatic conditions,myeloproliferative disorders (chronic myelogenous leukemia, melanoma), glucocorticoid therapy, stress burns,shock,gout.
