Preparation for the examination

General

The material for testing is blood.
Approximately 30 minutes before the examination, it is recommended to drink 1 glass of water only.
The patient must fast for at least 12 hours after consuming the last meal, unless the doctor recommends otherwise (e.g. performing the test after a meal)

Detailed for children

For children up to 3 years of age, it is recommended to collect blood half to one hour after feeding.

Lipaza to enzym wydzielany przez ślinianki, trzustkę, wątrobę, komórki nabłonka jelita cienkiego i tkanki tłuszczowej; pod jego wpływem tłuszcze ulegają rozpadowi.
Możliwe jest zmierzenie aktywności lipazy trzustkowej.

Znaczenie badania: rozpoznanie zapalenia trzustki.
