Drugs in urine package 1

• Urine should be collected in a disposable container (not less than 10 ml). If less material is provided, the Laboratory reserves the right not to perform the analysis.
• The patient does not need to be fasting.
• Before collection, intimate hygiene should be maintained (the material is collected after washing the genital area, but disinfectants should not be used).
• The result is reliable up to 72 hours after taking the drug.

The package includes amphetamine, cocaine, morphine, THC.

Amphetamines belong to a class of potentially sympathicomimetic agents with therapeutic uses. They are substances chemically similar to those found in the human body: catecholamine, epinephrine, norepinephrine. High doses of amphetamines lead to: excessive stimulation of the central nervous system, increased euphoria, alertness, reduction of appetite, increase in energy and strength. An intensified reaction leads to the appearance of anxiety, paranoia, hallucinations and psychotic behavior. The effect of amphetamines appears 2-4 hours after taking them. Opioid analgesics contain a large group of substances that control pain sensation by inhibiting the central nervous system. Morphine is the primary compound of this group. It is excreted in the urine mainly in the form of morphin-3-glucuronide
in smaller amounts as unchanged free morphine
and other metabolites. It is also the main product of codeine and heroin metabolism. Cocaine, obtained from the leaves of the coca tree, is a potential central nervous system stimulant
and a local anesthetic.It causes feelings of euphorri, confidence and a sense of increased energy. These effects are accompanied by an accelerated heart rate, pupil dilation, fever, chills, and sweating. Cocaine can be taken by smoking, intravenously, intranasally or orally and is rapidly excreted
