Description
The Waaler Rose reaction is a rheumatoid factor (RF) that reacts with various gammaglobulins. Various agglutination-based methods are used to identify it. The Waaler Rose test uses rabbit IgG directed against ram erythrocytes. The indications for performing the reaction are rheumatic diseases. A positive Waaler Rose test indicates the presence of rheumatoid factor.
