Preparation for the study
General
- The test material is blood.
- The patient does not need to be fasting.About 30 minutes before the test, it is advisable to drink a glass of water or bitter(unsweetened) tea.
- Antihistamines can be taken before the test.
Description
The test is performed to diagnose the presence of IgE antibodies against specific allergens.
The panel includes the following allergens: Milk, Alpha-lactalbumin, Beta- lactoglobulin, Casein, Egg white, egg yolk, Cod, Peanut, Cocoa, Soy, Apple, Carrot, Tomato, Flour-mix (flour from gluten-containing cereals: wheat, rye, oats, barley), Chicken, Citrus-mix (lemon, lime, orange, tangerine), Rice, 6 Grasses (meadow timothy, tussock, common cocksfoot, English raygrass, meadowgrass, meadow fescue), Rye, Dog mix (epidermis, dandruff, hair) , Cat mix (epidermis, dandruff, hair), Cladosp. Herbarum, Alt. alternata, Asp. fumigatus, D. pteronyssinus, D. farinae, Hazel, Birch, Mugwort, CCD( cross-reaction detection marker).
