Preparation for the examination
General
- The material for testing is blood.
- The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.
- You may take antihistamines before the test.
Description
The test is performed to diagnose the presence of IgE antibodies against specific allergens, i.e.: house mites (Der. pteronyssinus, Der. farinae), grey alder,
silver birch, common hazel, white oak, timothy grass, rye pollen, mugwort, ribwort plantain pollen, (epithelium/hair) of domestic cat, horse,
dog, guinea pig, hamster, rabbit and Penicillum notatum, Cladosporium herbarum, Aspergillus fumigatus, Alternaria alternata.
