Preparation for the study
General
- The test material is blood.
- The patient does not need to be fasting.About 30 minutes before the test, it is advisable to drink a glass of water or bitter(unsweetened) tea.
- Antihistamines can be taken before the test.
Description
The test is performed to diagnose the presence of IgE antibodies against specific allergens, viz: tomato, avocado, banana, citrus mix, kiwi, peanut, hazelnut, pea, soy, celery, beef, chicken, pork, clam, shrimp, crab, tuna, cod, garlic, onion, yeast, sesame, rice, corn, wheat flour, alpha-lactalbumin, beta-lactoglobulin, casein, egg white, CCD.
