Administration of iron preparation

• To administer the preparation available at the LUXMED Medical Center, we invite you:
  – with a referral/written recommendation* from a doctor to perform the injection,
  – the recommendation must include: the name of the medicine, form, dose, route of administration, number of injections,
  – with an identity document.
• In a situation where the preparation is provided by the Patient, we also
  inform that: – it should be stored and transported in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations,
  – please contact the Patient Service Office to confirm whether the preparation in your possession can be administered at the LUXMED Medical Center.
• After each drug administration, the patient should remain in the facility for approximately 20-30 minutes to detect any adverse reactions.

*the information card from the hospital cannot be treated as a recommendation/referral to perform the injection.

This medication is intended for the treatment of anemia.
It is used to treat patients with iron deficiency when oral iron medications are ineffective or cannot be used.
The goal of treatment is to replenish the body's iron stores and combat anemia (low red blood cell count) caused by iron deficiency.
