    The patient collects the samples themselves.
    Swabs for the test, along with a special referral, are available at Luxmed Medical Center collection points.
    The material must be delivered to the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station (SANEPID) within 68 hours of collecting the first sample; the collection times listed below must be adhered to.
    A swab should be collected daily (1 sample) for three consecutive days:
    Sample I - collected on the first day between 9-10 PM;
    Sample II - collected on the second day between 7-8 PM;
    Sample III - collected on the morning of the third day.
    Each swab must be labeled with the patient's name and surname, the date and time of collection.

Description

The test is performed to obtain a certificate for sanitary and epidemiological purposes.
Salmonella carrier status can have very serious consequences.
Salmonella bacteria can be divided into species, subspecies, and numerous serological types, causing various infections, such as inflammation of the small and large intestines, food poisoning, and typhoid fever.
The pathological changes caused by Salmonella are not limited to gastrointestinal symptoms (diarrhea, vomiting), but can also cause infections of internal organs, joints, and even sepsis.
Infection with the bacteria can also be asymptomatic and sometimes result in only mild symptoms of food poisoning.
Shigella bacteria cause dysentery.
