Description of the study
The purpose of the test is to assess the loudness balance between the ears, with a minimum difference in hearing between the two ears of 30 dB (e.g., unilateral hearing loss). The test is performed using supra-aural headphones. The subject's task is to determine the sound intensity level at which the sound heard through the headphones is the same in both ears.
