Description of the study
The test involves assessing the lateralization of a tuning fork sound. The excited tuning fork is placed against the top of the skull, and the subject determines which side the sound is heard on. The excited tuning fork is then placed behind the ear. When the subject stops hearing the sound, the tuning fork is moved in front of the ear, and the subject again estimates the moment when the sound ceases to be heard.
