PROFILE 2-STD POLYCHECK

• The material for testing is blood.
• The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.

The test quantitatively examines the concentration of 14 antibodies in the patient's serum, which are responsible for inflammation of various organs resulting from autoimmune diseases: SS-A 60, SS-B, Scl-70, PM/Scl-100, Sm, PCNA, dsDNA, ribosomal protein P0, CENP-B, AMA M2, PR3 (c-ANCA), MPO (p-ANCA), TPO, Tg.

The test can be performed in:
– people suspected or diagnosed with one of the diseases listed below,
– people suffering from general ailments (muscle or joint pain, weight loss, loss of appetite, skin lesions, kidney disorders, fatigue and weakness) or specific ailments in organs affected by autoimmune processes (eyes, liver, kidneys, lungs, skin and muscles, patients diagnosed with another autoimmune disease),
– people whose immediate family members have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease,
– people who have had weakly positive results in previous years to check whether the disease is progressing,
– sick people to monitor treatment.

The test is useful in diagnosing:
a) systemic inflammatory rheumatic diseases of connective tissue:
– polymyositis/dermatomyositis (PM/Scl-100)
– scleroderma (Scl-70, CENP-B, PM/Scl-100, AMA M2)
– mixed connective tissue disease (SS-A 60, SS-B)
– syndrome a (SS-A 60, SS-B, AMA M2)
– systemic lupus erythematosus (Sm, dsDNA, SS-A 60, SS-B, PCNA, ribosomal protein P0)
– CREST syndrome (CENP-B, Scl-70)
b) autoimmune systemic vasculitides:
– Wegener’s granulomatosis (PR3)
– microscopic polyarteritis (MPO, PR3)
– idiopathic crescentic glomerulonephritis (MPO)
– Churg-Strauss syndrome
– polyarteritis nodosa (PR3, MPO)
– autoimmune thyroid diseases (TPO, Tg)
– primary biliary cirrhosis (AMA M2, CENP-B)
– Goodpasture syndrome (PR3)
