Preparation for the examination
General
- The material for testing is blood.
- The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.
Description
The test quantitatively examines the concentration of 7 antibodies in the patient's serum, which are responsible for inflammation of muscles and skin resulting from autoimmune diseases: Mi-2, PM/Scl -100, Jo-1, SRP 54, PL-7, PL-12, Ku.
The test can be performed at:
– persons suspected or diagnosed with any of the diseases listed below,
– people suffering from: muscle or joint pain, weight loss, loss of appetite, skin changes, fatigue and weakness,
– patients diagnosed with another autoimmune disease,
– people whose immediate family members have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease,
– people who had weakly positive results in previous years, to check whether the disease is progressing,
– sick people to monitor treatment.
