Preparation for the study
General
- The test material is blood.
- The patient does not need to be fasting.About 30 minutes before the test it is advisable to drink a glass of water.
Description
The test quantitatively tests the concentration of 7 antibodies in the patient's serum, which are responsible for inflammation of muscles and skin, resulting from autoimmune diseases: Mi-2, PM/Scl -100, Jo-1, SRP 54, PL-7, PL-12, Ku.
The test can be performed at:
- Persons with a suspicion or diagnosis of any of the following diseases,
- People suffering from: muscle or joint pain, weight loss, lack of appetite, skin changes, fatigue and weakness,
- patients diagnosed with another autoimmune disease,
- People with immediate family members diagnosed with an autoimmune disease,
- people who came out weak-positive in previous years to check whether the disease is progressing,
- sick people to monitor treatment.
