- The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.
Description
Anti-TPO antibodies are used to diagnose autoimmune thyroid diseases, mainly Hashimoto's and Graves' disease, and for the clinical assessment of thyroid function.
