Description
Antiphosphatidylinositol antibodies are detected in antiphospholipid syndrome.
Syndrome- antiphospholipid syndrome APS (antiphospholipid syndrome), also called Hughs syndrome, is characterized by symptoms of vascular thrombosis, recurrent miscarriages along with the presence of serum antibodies with specificity to anionic phospholipids and phospholipid-binding proteins . Clinical criteria for antiphospholipid syndrome include:
1. vascular thrombosis,
2. spontaneous miscarriages.
