Description
Antibodies to Saccharomyces cerevisiae are found almost exclusively in Crohn's disease, with a prevalence of 67%. The antibody test measures polyvalent serum—IgAG. These antibodies enable diagnostic differentiation between Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, but their concentration does not correlate with disease progression.
