Rapid antigen test: SARS-CoV2, Influenza A, Influenza B, RSV, Adenovirus, Mycoplasma

The test is used for the qualitative detection of nucleocapsid protein antigens from SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, and influenza B viruses, as well as respiratory syncytial virus antigens such as RSV, adenovirus, and Mycoplasma pneumoniae. The test is performed on nasopharyngeal swab samples from individuals with symptoms of respiratory infection. The antigen is generally detectable in the upper respiratory tract during the acute phase of infection. Positive results indicate the presence of viral antigens, but clinical correlation with the patient's history and other diagnostic information is essential to determine the infection status. Positive results do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. The detected agent may not be the ultimate cause of the disease.
