Description
The Roma test is used to assess the risk of ovarian cancer.
Roma is a comprehensive test, including determinations of Ca 125 and HE4 concentrations, along with the evaluation of a risk assessment algorithm for estimating the probability,
whether a detected appendage tumor is an ovarian malignancy. Based on these, taking into account the patient's menopausal ststus, the statistical probability of ovarian cancer is calculated.
Roma is helpful in determining before surgery whether there is a high risk of a malignant form of ovarian cancer,
which has a key role in ensuring proper treatment.
