- The material for testing is blood.
- The patient does not need to fast. It is recommended to drink a glass of water approximately 30 minutes before the examination.
Description
The avidity index test supplements information about the detected anti-toxoplasma IgG and IgM antibodies. After the initial detection of anti-toxoplasma IgG and IgM antibodies, the avidity index test allows for the exclusion of a current infection less than 4 months old.
