Description of the study
This examination uses ultrasound to image the musculoskeletal system. The aim of the examination is to detect damage to the capsular and ligamentous structures and changes in the soft tissues around the ankle joint.
Indications
- pain,
- restriction of mobility,
- limited muscle strength and range of joint movement,
- inflammation or injury in the joint,
- cysts around the joint,
- ligamentous and capsular injuries of the ankle joint area (sprains),
- Achilles tendon damage.
