Description of the study
The examination is a method of imaging the musculoskeletal organ using ultrasound waves. The purpose of the examination is to detect damage to the capsular and ligamentous structures and changes in the soft tissues around the ankle joint.
Indications
- pain,
- mobility restriction,
- Limitation of muscle strength and range of motion in the joint,
- Inflammation or trauma within the joint,
- Cysts in the joint area,
- Ligament and tendon injuries of the ankle joint area (sprains),
- Achilles tendon damage.
